Our Organization

LifeBridge AmeriCorps has a legacy of service in West Virginia. Since 1994, our members have created positive change for thousands of individuals across the State of West Virginia. Through their service members have provided immediate and long-term benefits by expanding individual opportunity, building family stability, and creating more sustainable communities in a state plagued with socioeconomic problems.

Program Director

Mindy Robinson

Mindy Robinson has a passion for creating a positive impact on the world. She first became interested in the non-profit sector as a sophomore in high school. During her years of service throughout her young adult life she saw the needs of her community take priority in her goals in life. She is a first generation college graduate from Marshall University with a

Regents Bachelors of Arts Degree with an emphasis in Psychology and Sociology. Now, as the Associate Director, for LifeBridge AmeriCorps she has the ability to implement change through others.

Assistant Director

Cassie Curtis

Cassie is a dedicated community leader with a passion for service and nonprofit work. Her journey in public service began in 2015 when she served with LifeBridge AmeriCorps at the Boys and Girls Club, where she worked to create meaningful programs for youth.

Building on that experience, Cassie went on to serve as an Assistant Director for VISTA and later as a Program Director for RSVP, roles in which she helped strengthen volunteer programs and community initiatives. Her dedication to making a difference led her to a national nonprofit, where she spent nearly two years contributing to impactful programs on a broader scale.

Beyond her professional life, Cassie is a devoted mother to her son. Together, they share a love for the outdoors, frequently adventuring with their beloved dog, Calli. Whether exploring nature or working to strengthen communities, Cassie is committed to making a positive impact wherever she goes.

Program Assistant

Chelsea Shamblin

Chelsea Shamblin, although new to the non-profit sector, brings a fresh perspective and wealth of expertise to the team. As a native West Virginian, she is eager to make a meaningful impact and is determined to utilize her skills and passion to benefit the organization and the community it serves. With a strong drive for learning and growth, Chelsea is excited to immerse herself in the new role as Program Assistant with LifeBridge. Her enthusiasm and dedication make her a valuable asset as she works alongside her team to create positive change and empower those in need.
